Sorting Truth from Fiction

The sites listed in this section exist to sort truth from fiction.  On the internet and in the media, we are victimized daily by hoaxes, political spin, deliberate distortion, half truths, and other forms of misinformation. Unfortunately, far too many people are persuaded in their decisions by dubious information fed to them by people with an agenda that supersedes the truth or for whom party and issue chauvinism prevents them from seeing the truth.  We don't have to believe everything we are told - even from our own party or candidates, and we don't have to make flawed decisions based on misinformation.  It's ok to question, and seek the truth.  These sites are here to help.  They may not always get it right - but they try.
